The timing for initiating estrogen stimulation in artificial cycle for frozen-thawed embryo transfer can be flexible

چکیده
Abstract Background There remains a lack of evidence to demonstrate whether the initiation time estrogen stimulation is flexible in proliferative endometrial phase during artificial cycle for frozen-thawed embryo transfer (AC-FET). Methods FET records were retrospectively reviewed from large university-affiliated reproductive medicine center. Only patients who undergoing their first with single blastocyst AC-FET cycles included: thereby 660 recruited, and grouped according day usage as early group (estrogen initiated days 2–5 menses, n = 128) late on or after 6th 532). The primary outcome was ongoing pregnancy rates (OPR). Results biochemical clinical pregnancies significantly higher relative those group, however, no significant differences noted between two groups OPR. Furthermore, adjusting results potential confounders, impact observed Conclusions This study provides that initiating menses do not exert adverse effects OPR AC-FETs. Thus, can be scheduled manner without compromising outcomes.

Frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles
In order to reduce the chance of multiple pregnancy during in-vitro fertilisation (IVF)– embryo transfer treatment, there is an increasing trend towards transferring a lower number of embryos. Surplus good-quality embryos are then transferred in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The first pregnancy after FET was reported in 1983.1 It has been estimated that in IVF programmes in which ...
متن کاملI-29: Luteal Phase Support in Frozen-Thawed Embryo Transfer Cycle
Cumulative pregnancy rate has been significantly increased since frozen-thawed embryo transfer was applied in ART cycles. This method has become an essential part of IVF/ICSI treatment. Luteal phase support has been proven to be associated with higher rate of live birth rate. Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), and progestrone have been successfully used for luteal phase support in ovarian stim...

Case A 39-year-old woman presented with a genital hemorrhage at 5 weeks of gestation after an artificial cycle double frozen-thawed embryo transfer. She was diagnosed with a cervical heterotopic pregnancy. Although hormone supplementation was discontinued to terminate the pregnancy at 5 weeks of gestation, the intrauterine and cervical gestational sacs continued to develop. Outcome The cervic...
متن کاملP-187: Poor Endometrium and Repeated IVF Failure: Is That Any Place for Modified Natural Cycle Frozen-Thawed Embryo Transfer?
Background: The objective of this study was to compare the pregnancy rate of Frozen-thawed Embryo Transfer (FET) on natural versus hormone replacement therapy (HRT) cycle endometrium, in patients with repeated IVF failure (RIF). Materials and Methods: In this observational study, the pregnancy rate after FET on natural endometrium in patients with RIF and previously poor endometrium (<7mm) on H...
متن کاملMethods for endometrial preparation in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles.
Frozen-thawed (FT) embryo transfer is a procedure used for the storage and transfer of excess embryos obtained during in vitro fertilization- intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles. In recent years, improvements in laboratory conditions and limitations on the number of embryos to be transferred have led to a progressive increase in FT embryo transfer cycles. However, the best solution for endo...
